‘You’re broke’ Woman Calls Out Boyfriend For His Constant Negative Comments About Her Job, She Retorts With an Ultimatum

Welcome back people of the internet cosmos. We love a story of a rocky relationship; there's just something so satisfying about being able to read what two people are going through, analyze it, and choose a side. Instead of concentrating on our own lives or interpersonal issues, we can easily delve into other people's problems. We love to indulge in drama as long as it's not our own. 

This brings us to the Reddit thread. In this piece, the couple has been together for a couple years. Based on the story, I'm guessing they're either teenagers or in their early 20s. Their qualms are about work and money. The woman has multiple jobs, while the guy doesn't. For a long time he's been slandering her openly, always making comments that she's broke. It comes to a head, and she snaps one day. She tells him off, and says that he can't disrespect her like this or else they're done.
